There’s No Cure for Back Pain, You Just Live with it, Right?

March 13, 2020

Back pain is a fact of life for many people.  Research over the last 25 years shows that up to 80% of the population will most likely experience back pain at some point during their lives.

A woman’s alarm went off one morning about 2 years ago and she woke up to – agony. It was her back. She tried moving, tried lying still, she tried sitting: everything hurt. She visited a physiotherapist recommended by a friend. Over the next days and weeks, the back pain lessened, but she was still terrified to move. It was most intense in just one area, but it had infused her whole being, taken her energy, removing any pleasure she had in life. It was exhausting, being in pain or worrying about being in pain. She went from exercising four times a week to not at all.

“There is something about back pain,” she recalled, “that makes you desperate to find a magical solution. Bearing the pain, waiting for it to get better, is unthinkable.” 1

Back pain is a fact of life for many people.  Research over the last 25 years shows that up to 80% of the population will most likely experience back pain at some point during their lives.2  Back pain is also the second most common reason doctor’s office visits, which are eclipsed only by upper-respiratory infections.

It is a complete fallacy to think there is no cure, no hope of improvement and that the only “real” solution to back pain is to use prescription medications and or surgery. At Chattanooga Integrated Medicine Center we have a highly successful, no prescription, non-surgical approach to not only managing back pain, but eliminating it at the source. We work hard to identify and isolate the specific causes of your particular pain. We then develop a treatment plan with you that may include, regenerative medicine therapy, decompression, structural care, and others in combination.

Our patients are regularly telling us how impressed they are with our services- particularly because they have finally found real, proven relief to their chronic back pain.

No, you don’t have to just live with back pain. In fact, you not only don’t have to live with it, you don’t have to worry about it any longer. Come see us today!
